Blessings and curses
Fade away. All you have left
Is you resilience
Blast from the past:
The possible does
Not concern me. Let it bring
Joy or pain
The Cracked Door – Daily Haikus
Reflections on life, the world, and society. Come explore with me.

Blessings and curses
Fade away. All you have left
Is you resilience
Blast from the past:
The possible does
Not concern me. Let it bring
Joy or pain

Sand, mountains, volcanoes
I see new landscapes until
They become the familiar
Wall paper of my life
Blast from the past:
My own universe
Is not trapped there on a shelf
Gathering stardust

Climbing up and up
Just to have to go back down
The wave of living
Blast from the past:
I invite the wind
Because in it I know I’ll
Find actual life

After finally
Catching you here in my trap,
Why do I feel bad?
Blast from the past:
Your own destruction
Is the result of trying
To defeat others

The god that can be
Pointed at is an idol.
Newly-forged horror
Blast from the past:
Faith without doubt is
A dangerous zombie or
A vapid facade

select love
from him
join her
on child
where
womb is null
(I wrote my poem for today in the programming language SQL.)
Blast from the past:
There is nothing one
Can give that is friendlier
Than one’s very tears.

Tenacity doesn’t show in success but in how one handles repeated failures.
Blast from the past:
The road to a failed project is paved with a thousand miscommunications.
