Finally alone
With the time now to wonder where
Everybody is

Blast from the Past:

Flag on the mountain
Temple of my familiar
Tattoos on the heart

Your legacy turns
To how others remake you
Till you’re forgotten

Posthumous title: Death from This World

Blast from the Past:

How long will it take
Until everything I do
Will be forgotten?

I wrote my poem for today a poem in the programming language Python instead of a haiku:

Blast from the Past:

What do you get by
Winning the rat race but to
Become the best rat

I gaze at the sky
As the clouds turn into
Dragons and tigers.

Blast from the Past:

Watching a fun film
Lying on the couch while two
Cats sleep at my feet

Who am I amidst
The quagmire of debate ‘tween
The self and its brain?

Blast from the Past:

Postmodern crisis:
The power of perspective,
Generative force

I am born anew
In every tomorrow
Approaching promise

Blast from the Past:

If you press hard enough,
Things will shift,
Breaks will come

-Opportunity

Paradise nor fall
Shall come follow me as I
Erase sin’s tongue.

Did Adam and Eve
Ever get to name themselves
In their own garden?

My joints shoot in pain
As I lay down and slowly
Loose my consciousness

Blast from the Past:

Blazing through the storm
Jogging unable to see
Feeling fantastic

Unequal childhoods
Dependent development
Limiting pursuits

Blast from the Past:

We must shine our lights
For the goodness of our one
True god: Capital.

On the plane leaving
The city I have lived in
For the last five years

Many adventures,
Many frustrations, many
Lessons flow beneath me
