Just an equation?
Blast from the Past:
Inspiration comes
From within your minds eye but
So does writer’s block.

It’s worthless to think
It’s worthless to analyze
When no one else seems to
Blast from the Past:
Can’t think beyond so
What do you do? You bully.
Harm those who differ.
The smallest of things
Zooms up close after a while
Whispering “Hello!”
Blast from the Past:
Uncover the core
Of the impossible. See
The world around you.
My words keep hyphen-
Ating. My eyes always dash-
Ing to the next line.
Blast from the Past:
blah blah blabba blah
those are your five plus seven
plus five syllables
Questions draw people in,
But pronouncements push them away
Ask questions.
Blast from the Past:
Raise troubling questions
Malleable conventions
Few floating forays
Seconds before the
Big impact is the wrong time
To ask what the point is
Blast from the Past:
Isolated in our
Hulking towers of gray stone:
Evil in nonbeing
The stream keeps flowing
Despite my persistent tries
To dam it back up
Blast from the Past:
I stood with branches
Planting my feet in place while
Ideas whirled round
The cuscus glances at
His lover across the branch
In the afterglow of sex
Blast from the Past:
What is the point of
Fine roses in the pathway if
You can’t enjoy them?
Stand in line
All we need is
Your compliance
Blast from the Past:
I should fall in line?
For a job? That’s never worth
It in the long run.
How are we
Supposed to build
Our fortresses of resilience
Upon only
Loneliness, stress, and exhaustion?
Blast from the Past:
I keep circling
The vortex of agony:
Cycle of anger
