My joints shoot in pain
As I lay down and slowly
Loose my consciousness
Blast from the Past:

Blazing through the storm
Jogging unable to see
Feeling fantastic
The Cracked Door – Daily Haikus
Reflections on life, the world, and society. Come explore with me.

My joints shoot in pain
As I lay down and slowly
Loose my consciousness
Blast from the Past:

Blazing through the storm
Jogging unable to see
Feeling fantastic

Unequal childhoods
Dependent development
Limiting pursuits
Blast from the Past:
We must shine our lights
For the goodness of our one
True god: Capital.

On the plane leaving
The city I have lived in
For the last five years
Many adventures,
Many frustrations, many
Lessons flow beneath me

Come. Prop up your feet.
Watch as our humanity
Slowly melts away.
Blast from the Past:
Brief introduction
Totalitarianism,
Intimate power

Anyone who has
Never been perplexed will never
Become informed
Blast from the Past:
How I take simple
Questions and then making them
Now complicated

I refuse to be
Defined by your quest to push
Me up to your oblivion
No matter how many
Times you push me, I will
Always bounce back
— The stone’s response to Sisyphus

I can’t sit still, yet
I feel agitated when
I go do something
Blast from the Past:
Excitement surrounds
In this amazing place, and all
I want is to sleep

Birthed out of the
Stone that seeks Sisyphus is
Modernity’s madness
Blast from the Past:
The generation
Before the ark, the age of
Insignificance

Knead the yeast of
The fall. Pop the air bubbles
Of our monstrous age.
Blast from the past:
He knew me not and
Named me fire. I know him, and
He has named me flood.

You will never feel
Satisfied until you learn
You have all you need.
Blast from the Past:
They dig deep for it
But it has always been here
In their inner core
