Blast from the Past:

Processing choices
Made about me before I
Had even been born.

I am going to be traveling throughout the countryside until May 28th, 2025, so I will not have consistent internet access. Thus, I will be taking a break from posting my daily haikus. I plan to resume them once I get back. I will also not likely post my daily haikus. I will still write haikus everyday. I not can but love writing these while traveling, but I will not usually have the internet to upload them here every day like I normally day. Once I get back, I hope to bulk upload all the haikus I wrote as I traveling. Thank you for your patience and support.

One, lone airplane
Flying over the ocean,
Taking me to new worlds

Blast from the Past:

This winding dirt road
What wonders I must go see
To explore the world

Liberate the earth.
Imprison the sky. I fall
To remain faithful

Blast from the Past:

To have faith is to
Live in the constant fear
That you will lose it.

Soft hands and warm oil
Stretch, relax, and moisturize,
Getting a massage

Blast from the Past:

Sometimes you must learn
To gently calm down. Take time
To relax and heal.

It’s in the ashes
I’ve the ability to
Invent a new dawn.

Blast from the Past:

Let us venture forth.
Hoist the anchor. Sail into
Abysmal failure.

Every small bump
Becomes a source of worry
But is just a bump

Why worry about
The future? There is too much
Life to be lived now.

Gliding gracefully
Coming together as one
Two mantas kissing

Blast from the past:

School of fish chilling under my belly
Why stay here? You hungry, or
Do those swimmers scare you?

Let that brittle wind
That tells you you don’t belong
Blow the other way.

Blast from the Past:

Yes, the emperor
May have no clothes but wait until
You realize that
Everyone has been naked this whole time

Endless planks leading
To the ocean’s horizon,
How far should I go?

Blast from the Past:

I walk along the
Path that refuses to begin,
Eternal present

Tired, unable
To sleep in the airport
A walking zombie

Blast from the Past:

This wasted effort
To get some sleep that never
Really wants to stay.
